These skid boots from Professional's Choie are made of comfortable and durable material. On the back, the gaiters are reinforced to provide extra protection for the horse's legs during sliding stops and fast turns where the horse comes all the way down to the hind end. The reinforcement means your horse's legs won't be bothered by rocks, dirt and debris that can wear holes during a hard ride.

The story of Professional's Choice started back in 1976 when founder Dal Scott broke his leg in a riding accident. Hoping to recover faster, he developed neoprene orthopaedic products. This was the start of Dricast Orthopedics, Inc - what we know today as Professional's Choice. Dal had a passion for horses, so naturally, it wasn't long before the focus shifted from people to equine equipment. The development and production of therapeutic products for horses began in 1986, when the brand was renamed Professional's Choice Sports Medicine Products, Inc.

After the brand was renamed Professional's Choice, the research and development team began working on what is now known as the original Sports Medicine Boot. Since the popular Professional's Choice gaiters made their debut in 1990, the development of equine leg protection has continued apace - the latest being the groundbreaking 2XCool gaiters with cooling effect.
